Dr. Ashwin Venkatesh is a highly skilled Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon with extensive training and experience across leading cardiac centres in India. With a strong foundation built through his DrNB in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery and more than 10+ years of hands-on surgical exposure, he has developed expertise in a wide range of complex cardiac, thoracic and vascular procedures. His clinical proficiency includes coronary artery bypass grafting (off-pump and on-pump), mitral and aortic valve surgeries, aortic root and arch reconstruction, minimally invasive cardiac surgery and robotic-assisted procedures.

He has trained and worked at premier institutions such as Apollo Hospitals (Greams Road), Kauvery Hospital, and Billroth Hospital, contributing to high-volume cardiac surgery units and advancing minimally invasive and robotic surgery practices. His experience also spans pediatric cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery (including VATS), hybrid coronary interventions, institution and management of ECMO and heart–lung transplant exposure.
